Out of Hand: Curious Work

The #outofhand collaboration grew out of a research project on the artist Mary Beale by Juliet Lockheart. In 2022 Juliet had a vision of inviting other artists of different disciplines to come together to examine how the lives and work of 17th century women could speak to us as women in the 21st century. Through working together we aim to produce a cohesive, multidisciplinary and multi-thread project over the next few years.
